Buy an Original Polaroid!

I’ve never done this and I may never do it again. I’ve decided that I’d like to offer a few select polaroids for sale (the ones you see above). These are a collection of polaroids that I’ve held onto because I think they are my best. It should go without saying that these are originals and I will of course sign them. So, here’s the deal:

• $50 each
• First come, first serve
• You must promise to give them a good home

If you take a fancy to any of them, send me an email and we’ll get everything squared away.

Impossible Color

After much anticipation, The Impossible Project has released a new color instant film for Polaroid cameras. I was lucky enough to be able to shoot two packs of a beta version of this film. It’s so dreamy and wonderful and makes me short of breath. Here is the last shot I took with the beta film from this past Sunday. I’ve already ordered some of the new stock and can’t wait to shoot it.

She is so still and holds herself in such a way that I lose sense of her wholeness. She has become something abstract, a body disconnected and reconnected in a manner utterly foreign, but completely wonderful. Wait. I see one leg, suspended. And then another, at rest. What is she? Where does she begin, end? My senses confounded, I focus where I can: the meeting of her legs.
