Voyeur: It’s Safe to Look
In conjunction with my exhibit at Project Lodge next month, I’m putting out a book. I’m hoping to have final edits done this evening and a copy in my hands in two weeks. Previews and further information to follow very soon. I’m trying to make this something really good. Stay tuned…
I don’t think she is ever out of tune. Such congruencies. Nothing for naught, nothing without the grace of intention.
I’ve lost track of words. Trying to read what is on her mind. She’s no sphinx.
But maybe an interrogative
?
“But you will wind up peeking through her keyhole…”
Her ring doesn’t sparkle. It matches her bra and that is enough for me. Better, even. I don’t know how anyone can see such blue tones and not become hypnotized; and not become some gathering of dreams; and not become some stumbling hunger.
“…Down upon your knees.”
This is all a dream. That’s how everything begins. Understanding may come, but for now…for now it is only possible to watch.
You never forget reds like that. Not that I’d want to. She the matador. My eyes confounded. But this is the dance. It’s not the time to think of endings.
